Sunday Tamalpias Hike

These photos were taken on a weekend hike with Ken from his place in Mill Valley to Stinson beach. All photos copyright Peter Eptein 2000. Use by permission only.

Shot with my Nikon F3 camera on Fuji Provia 100 slide film, and scanned with Danny's Nikon scanner.

This photo was actually taken on July 4th weekend, on the beach. She just got back from a swim in the river. Cold, but not nearly as cold as the ocean!
We all really had fun on this hike, even Ken, who was really getting a work-out carrying Ansel.
Whenever I tried to take a photo of Ansel, he'd be looking the other way, so Ken tried spinning around, which worked.
One of several shots of interesting bark.
Another shot.
Our first stop for a break. Ansel's full of energy, having been carried up by Ken. He's drinking some fancy cream soda and thoroughly enjoying himself. I'm wearing my gut-butt system: a fanny pack on the back and a camera bag on the front.
Can you tell I like these texture shots?
View from the West Point Inn, the site of our next break, including plenty of decadent food, such as sardines, smoked fish, Wasa crackers, and plums.
Fog rolling over the hills. Pretty amazing to see in person!
Danny and Anne-Lise crossing a bridge. Anne-Lise is wearing one of her cute expressions.
The mountain theater.

More to come, when I get the next roll of film developed!
