Daddy at Plantagenet. This film is fast enough to shoot indoors during the day.
Anne-Lise out for a brisk ride with Sanni. Sanni now has 5 horses, and two more are on the way: one to be delivered by truck, the other to be delivered the old fashioned way!
This beautiful piece of pottery looks somehow out of place here in the snow.
The main entance of plantagenet, showing off Sanni's unique interior decorating style.
The dining room stove at Plantagenet. The kitchen is on the left, the dining room table just behind. Light comes from huge floor to ceiling windows on the right.
Danny relaxing in the living room at Plantagenet. We did a lot of relaxing, but we spent even more time eating :-)
Daddy reading in the living room at Plantagenet, with one of Sanni's paintings behind.
The view outside from Plantagenet. I didn't want to bother getting all dressed up to get this shot, so there are some reflections from the window.
Danny showing off his Palm Computing Platform shirt from a recent conference.
Titian enjoying the warmth of the sun room at Plantanet. This room is off the living room, and it has windows on all other sides, making it very warm during the day.
Doug's mother Geraldine. This was the first time we'd seen her in a while. She's just finishing a new house in Arnprior that'll have plenty of room for herself and Doug. Geraldine is one strong woman. She won't let anything or anyone stand in her way!
Doug at his appartment. He's still working at OTI (now part of IBM). He got a new van, which is a vast improvement over the old one.
Manon, Danny Pash's girlfriend. I hear conflicting reports on whether they're going to get married. They're sharing a new house with his sister Tanya. He recently completed flight training for the Boeing 757, and they all seem to enjoy their new place, which is east of Ottawa, but much closer than Plantagenet or Alexandria. Sorry, I didn't get any good shots of Danny or Tanya: not enough light.
Rudy at home in Alexandria.
Clasina at home in Alexandria. She put on quite the feast for christmas! This is one of those rare moments when she's sitting down.
The view from the ski-doo trail near the Hassenklover's place in Alexandria. Rudy takes this trail all the way to Apple Hill on his cross country skis. The weather wasn't good for skiing during our visit, so we walked. It sure was nice to see snow! The film is all wrong for daylight photography, but it seems to do okay.
Anne-Lise all bundled up for a walk. We're so used to California winters that we really had to bundle up.
The gate to enter the garden out back.
The sundial out front, with the vane removed.
A field covered with fresh snow, out back.
Danny enjoying the fire at Plantagenet. Other than somewhat bad color, the film did pretty well here.
Kotty at Plantagenet. I only got to see her for a little while. She flew off to Africa, believe it or not! This picture wouldn't have been possible with slower film, and I really like how it turned out.
Danny reading at Plantagenet.
Anne-Lise. The grain is so large that it kind of spoils the shot.
Wolf getting a break from the kids.
Erica. This and the following shots are all pretty grainy, but they're all right for snapshots.
Pam during the present openning festivities. She seems right at home in the middle of all the commotion.
Bobby during the present openning festivities.
