Artistic

These are the photographs which I took for their artistic effect. They span many locations, and have nothing in common other than my feeling that they're special for one reason or another.

Ourside the front door of my parent's place in Plantagenet, Ontario, Canada. This beautiful piece of pottery looks somehow out of place here in the snow.
My father reading in the living room at Plantagenet, with one of Sanni's paintings behind. The lighting comes from an overhead spotlight and from the lamp.
My sister Kotty relaxing at my parent's place in Plantagenet. This picture wouldn't have been possible with slower film, and I really like how it turned out.
Half Moon Bay is where most of the pumpkins are grown in the bay area. Around haloween, you see pumpkins everywhere. Here one sits on a post at the entrance to the park at Moss Beach, a town a few minute's drive north of Half Moon Bay on the California coast. The setting sun enhances the color.
The view of the sunset through the trees. Taken on the way down Four Mile Trail from Glacier Point in Yosemite National Park, California.
Our thyme plant getting sun in our back yard. We use fresh thyme in several dishes including the famous chicken with 40 cloves of garlic, which Ken made a variation of recently. Thyme is much better fresh! I like the effect of the low depth of field.
